Composite Products
-
-
- Using our engineering expertise, VCP can help to optimize the designs of your products to ensure that not only will they safely accomplish their goal, but also ensure money isn’t wasted through massive over-engineering.
-
Specialty Materials
-
-
- SMC (structural carbon fiber material) comes in a large variety of flavors with varying physical properties. The engineers at Vision Composite Products understand the underlying strengths and weaknesses of the raw materials and can custom fit the formula best suited to the requirements of your products.
-
Carbon Fiber Forging
-
-
- VCP has created a proprietary manufacturing process capable of scaling up to millions of parts a year. Driven through automation, this scalable process results in higher manufacturing efficiency with higher volumes – providing access to lightweight, structurally sound carbon fiber components at a fraction of the price.
-
Cross Industry Solutions
-
-
- VCP manufactures everything in house in Decatur, Alabama. (not sure if this one belongs here… I need to speak to the “engineering” side of manufacturing, but not coming up with anything as of yet).
- VCP can simulate every aspect of the parts and manufacturing process virtually. Using a proprietary analysis software and process, we’ve created a digital twin of the forging process enabling us to know exactly where each fiber is, how it is oriented in the resin, and how the ending result will behave when put under load.
-
Perfomance Driven Engineering
-
-
- VCP was founded as an engineering focused company. With 70% of its employees having degrees in some form of engineering focus, we’ve leveraged the best minds and the best technology to push the envelope on what can be done with Carbon Fiber.
- Another key value proposition in working with VCP is access to significantly more complex designs that can be made out of carbon fiber. Traditional methods of carbon fiber layup are restricted to shapes that bode well for wrapping woven sheets around, whereas our SMC method can create complex geometry with the same structural capabilities.
